The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton is now taking registration for our Wonderful Winter Story Time, a story program for children ages 18- months up to age 5 with a caregiver. Story Time is held on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. and will begin on January 23, 2017 and meets every Monday through March 27, with no session on President’s Day, February 20. Story Time features stories, songs with live music, and finger plays in the Children’s Room. Registration is required and space fills up quickly; please stop by the library or call 860-445-0392 for further information or to register. Library hours are Monday and Thursday, 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Saturday, 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in Groton City, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold. The library recently celebrated its 125th anniversary and has an extensive collection of books and media for children, teens and adults, including downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, museum passes and discount tickets.
