I love St Ives for its sheer magical beauty but Falmouth is somehow more real. I love the industrial aspects - the cranes and ships’ turrets I can see from my window, the windy lanes, the rocky beaches, the open bay, the hills and headlands in every direction. Every time I go for a walk I discover something new.

Carolyn and I put down the paint brush to decorate my bunk room. We have felt nostalgic for Christmas from our childhood and simpler times. Decorations were simple and traditional, boasting reds and greens. We gathered our vintage decorations and transformed the room into what feels like a perfect step back in time.
