Native Expressions is an Art Show & Silent Auction featuring Native Artists and their original work.
Native Expressions will feature nearly 100 pieces and will be on display until Nov. 30 in our temporary gallery located off the atrium. From Nov 1 up until Nov 19 at 5:00 pm, patrons will have the opportunity to either bid or purchase a selection of the artwork from the artists. Bidding will close on Nov 19 at 5:00 at which time winners will be announced. The art pieces will also have a “buy now” price to allow patrons to forgo the bidding and purchase the art outright if they so desire.
On Nov 5 (which is the date for the Honoring the Veterans Powwow), guests will be able to meet and greet with the artists from 1-3 in the temporary gallery.
On Nov 19 we will be hosting a Native American Thanksgiving Buffet in the museum and created by our Chef Sherry so it will be a wonderful day to visit the musuem and explore both culinary and multi-media art pieces! Foxwoods Rewards Points are accepted at the museum for admission, dining, memberships and gift store purchases.
