Event Description: The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton will host local authors Jim Streeter and William Tischer as they discuss their book, Groton-Mystic Emergency Services on Monday, November 28th at 6 pm. The authors will provide a historical glimpse of all of the Groton-Mystic emergency service organizations. Copies of Groton-Mystic Emergency Services will be available for purchase. All royalties from the book will be donated to the Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services, earmarked for their mobile canteen operation. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the library at 860-445-0392 for more information.
