ADVENTURE SERIES — FIRE IN THE SKY, ICE ON THE SEA: GLACIERS AND THE AURORAS IN THE NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN HEMISPHERES

You heard him speak about the Panama Canal last season, and now Niki Sepsas returns to share the marvel of auroras–spectacular, natural light displays in the sky. Also known as the Northern and Southern Lights, the Aurora Borealis and the Aurora Australis can take many different visual forms, sometimes appearing as a greenish or faint red glow. You will also learn about the crucial role that glacial ice plays in our world in this enlightening discussion.
