February 4, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
The Bill Memorial Library invites you to visit the library on Take Your Child to the Library Day, Saturday, February 4, 2017. Children and their families can stop by during regular hours for cookies and a cup of hot cocoa and make a winter craft to take home. Complete our library scavenger hunt and earn a prize. Sign up for a library card (bring proof of Groton residency and photo I.D.) and choose a free book to keep. Get in on the fun! For more information call the library at 860-445-0392. Take Your Child to the Library Day is a grass-roots event first suggested by Nadine Lipman, Children’s Librarian at the Waterford Public Library, with over 100 libraries in the state and beyond currently participating.
