Event Description: This popular family-friendly event will return again this year to Olde Mistick Village! Throughout the Village there will be FREE entertainment all afternoon. The Fly-by-Night Comedy Jugglers will delight audiences of all ages. Choirs from Stonington High School and Chariho High School in Rhode Island, along with the Mystic River Chorale, will be roaming the Village singing timeless holiday classics. The Festive Brass Ensemble will be performing in the Gazebo on the Village Green and also parading around the Village. Fox Glove Farm from Old Lyme will be providing FREE horse drawn wagon rides for the entire family from 1pm-4pm. Children can do some holiday shopping at the very popular Santa’s Workshop at the Meeting House from 12noon to 4pm. Santa’s elf, Gumdrop, will be there to assist children in selecting that special gift in a store designed just for them! All items will be priced under $10.00. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be in front of Raining Cats & Dogs for photos with PETS ONLY from 12noon-3pm. This is your opportunity to take a photo of that special member of your family! Proceeds will be donated to charity. The Olde Mistick Village Merchants’ Association will again this year sponsor a gingerbread contest. Gingerbread houses will be on display at various stores. The public can vote for their favorite gingerbread creations!
