DESCRIPTION:James is a guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in acoustic classic and modern rock and plays all over New England. For formal events he also plays classical guitar and has a large repertoire of popular\, classical\, and jazz songs. He has performed many private events for the Mohegan Sun and is in constant demand to play Weddings\, Parties\, and Club Dates. James Graduated from “Berklee College of Music” in Boston in 1992 with a Fine Arts Degree. He also studied extensively with several of Berklee’s top professors. He had intensive guitar training with renowned guitarist John Wilkins and studied privately with jazz great Hal Crook. He studied performance at Berklee with famous recording artist and entertainer Livingston Taylor\, James Taylor’s brother. James has also studied voice privately with the accomplished tenor Brian Cheney who is a protege of 3-time Grammy award winning American Tenor Jerry Hadley. He was part of the acoustic duo/trio “Love Handles” for many years and still plays with them on special occasions. So it’s The Beatles to the rescue\, as our animated heroes team up with Young Fred and the Nowhere Man and journey across seven seas to free Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band\, make peace with the Meanies\, and restore music\, colour\, and love to the world. But beyond all the glorious music\, Yellow Submarine is a landmark in animation\, with Heinz Edelmann’s inspired art direction conjuring up a non-stop parade of wildly different styles and techniques. From the paper-doll residents of Pepperland\, to the tinted photography of the soot covered roofs and smokestacks Liverpool\, the menagerie of fanciful characters in the Sea of Monsters\, the kaleidoscopic colour-splashed rotoscoping of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds\, the vertigo inducing op-art of the Sea of Holes\, and the triumphant euphony of the It’s All Too Much finale\, the film is simply a joy.

This swim will give you the perfect excuse to visit a classic New England seaport on Long Island Sound. The swim course will take you past the fully restored whaling ship\, Charles Morgan and around the Mystic Harbor lighthouse and down river through the picturesque village. \nDon’t miss the opportunity to explore this small town that is steeped in shipbuilding history. Mystic Seaport is the nation’s leading maritime museum. Its collections and exhibits include over 500 historic watercraft\, a major research library\, a large gallery of maritime art\, a unique diorama displaying the town of Mystic as it was in the 19th century\, a ship restoration shipyard\, the Treworgy Planetarium\, and a re-creation of a 19th-century seafaring village. DESCRIPTION:James is a guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in acoustic classic and modern rock and plays all over New England. For formal events he also plays classical guitar and has a large repertoire of popular\, classical\, and jazz songs. He has performed many private events for the Mohegan Sun and is in constant demand to play Weddings\, Parties\, and Club Dates. James Graduated from “Berklee College of Music” in Boston in 1992 with a Fine Arts Degree. He also studied extensively with several of Berklee’s top professors. He had intensive guitar training with renowned guitarist John Wilkins and studied privately with jazz great Hal Crook. He studied performance at Berklee with famous recording artist and entertainer Livingston Taylor\, James Taylor’s brother. James has also studied voice privately with the accomplished tenor Brian Cheney who is a protege of 3-time Grammy award winning American Tenor Jerry Hadley. He was part of the acoustic duo/trio “Love Handles” for many years and still plays with them on special occasions. Small patriots can even craft hats to wear in their very own section of the parade. A rousing 1876 Independence Day ceremony is followed by an elegant concert featuring the Mystic Silver Cornet Band on the Village Green. \nIn the afternoon\, visitors can play croquet with residents of 1876 Mystic and watch live theatrical performances by the Mystic Seaport Tale-Makers. Everybody can help churn ice cream and reap the delicious rewards. And don’t forget to save some energy for 19th-century lawn games on the Village Green. The New England seashore is the perfect place to celebrate America’s 100th birthday\, and we look forward to seeing you there! \nAll activities are included with Museum admission or membership.
